About Us

At EmilyDiana Collective, we believe meaningful growth happens when education and emotional wellness work together. Our work is grounded in research, guided by compassion, and designed to help each individual — child, teen, or adult — move forward with confidence.

Our Story

Founded by Emily Franks, M.Ed., Educational Therapist, EmilyDiana began as a boutique educational therapy practice in the South Bay focused on structured literacy and individualized instruction.

Over time, as families, schools, and professionals sought more comprehensive and collaborative support, the practice naturally evolved into the EmilyDiana Collective — a team of educators, therapists, and coaches who share a belief in whole-person learning.

Today, the collective brings together professionals from across disciplines. From early reading intervention to adult coaching and consulting, our team is united by one mission: to make learning and growth intentional, individualized, and relational.

Philosophy

Every individual's journey is unique — and deserves a personalized, evidence-based approach.

We blend structured instruction with thoughtful connection, creating plans that build confidence, independence, and self-understanding.

Our collective model allows us to collaborate across specialties — educational therapists, executive-function coach, life coach, and licensed therapist — to support the whole person.

Whether we’re helping a child master foundational literacy skills, guiding a teen through academic overwhelm, or empowering an adult to rediscover purpose, our approach remains the same: intentional, individualized, and relational.

What Makes Us Different

Boutique & Intentional
Every plan is custom-designed. We work with a limited number of clients to ensure meaningful, high-touch support. We provide services in-home, on school campus, or on Zoom.

Collaborative
Our collective works closely with families, schools, and allied professionals to create continuity and connection across settings.

Evidence-Based
Our methods draw from the research in literacy, cognition, and mental wellness — grounded in proven frameworks like the Science of Reading.
