Frequently Asked Questions

01
What is educational therapy & how is it different from tutoring?
Educational therapy is a specialized, individualized approach that addresses not only what a student needs to learn, but how they learn, and the underlying cognitive needs. At EmilyDiana Collective we integrate evidence-based methods (for example, structured literacy aligned with the science of reading) and tailor instruction for students with learning differences, attention challenges, or academic gaps. Traditional tutoring often focuses on content review and homework help; educational therapy digs deeper to build skills, strategies, and self-advocacy, so the student becomes more independent
